Bundesliga new boys Paderborn were beating Hannover today 1-0, in the 90th minute Hannover won a free kick in a promising position, they sent everyone forward, including the keeper. They were punished by Paderborn in spectacular style!

I spent 10 years in Germany and for many years in Herford, I played for a combined civvy/army team against Armenia Bielefeld and we beat em 2-1 and they were in the Bundesliga second tier at the time.

I did go watch VFL Osnabruck a few times and also Kaiserslautern who were quality back then, late 80s
