Very tough though even after just 7 matches

Why do people keep saying we have the squad? Norwich, Watford and Forest are far better teams than us for a start.
Wake up!

Agreed.
I ask myself how many of this squad are good enough to start in the Premier League - David Marshall, obviously. Manga (you would hope with his reputation and what we paid for him, but yet to prove himself in English football). Joe Ralls is one for the future and then Craig Noone too.
The rest, not for me.

We could still mathematically win the league, but also go down as the bottom club.
That is the reality so yes, we can recover, but yes, we can also bomb out.
It is up to the players and the new manager to ensure safety and position 1-6.

If the quality of managers we have been looking at is eventually appointed we have no chance whatsoever. The names linked to the post so far have not been inspiring!. Nothing against these managers/ coaches etc but at this time we need a quality manager with experience who has managed at Championship/ Premiership level.
As a club we seem to be going backwards and not in the direction that everyone expected. It is going to take a lot to turn it around thus season. No decent manager, no chance of promotion. There may even be a search for another new manager at the end of this season!
