Tony pullis surprising!

Fri Sep 19, 2014 10:15 am

Why does it not surprise me that pullis doesn't appeal to tan?

Maybe it's because it's the most sensible option.

Maybe because it's what the majority of fans want.

Maybe it's because he counts him partly responsible for the 'spy gate' scandal'????

Who knows what goes on in Tans head?

Might be because we didn't 'respect' him in his eyes so gives us a tin pot manager or DJ as punishment

it's like he has a vendetta against City fans now! doesn't turn up anymore, but from what I remember was quite happy to take all the limelight at the start of last season. |Tan Out!

Maybe because Pulis has a stigma of negative, boring, outdated hoofball and he wants the club to not go back to that style of football like we were under Mackay?

Were in a results based business mate, we int Manu. He want industrious football that gets us points, then we want to establish ourselves in the prem league. Then surely we can worry about playing fancy football

To be honest I was not a fan of the football we played in the promotion year. It was f*cking horrible on the eye.

I am not anti Pulis by the way, thought he had Palace playing some decent stuff last year. Just raising some other potential reasons why we may not be chasing him other than "Just to spite the fans". Could be cash, could be the desire to follow the Technical Director/Director of Football model and the knowledge TP would refuse to work that way.

Yeah the football wasn't good mate very frustrating and I agree the last reason is to spite the fans, that was more of a sarcastic comment. But right now all we need to be worrying about is the most logical way to compete in this league. It's guna take a strong manager to come in and be able to work in this environment

Maybe. But not if we go the continent model. Then there is a support structure for someone inexperienced. I think that is what Ole meant with the difference in philosophy statement
