Just wondering how many out there will give him respect if he is chosen to do a job?
Or will you abuse him from day one?
I feel if he isn't given the respect then there is Zero chance of us picking up some good results.
and let's be honest he's got us close before on quite a shite budgit and timeline, I think he's a safe bet unless we are gauranteed a household name

He showed no respect to our fans he will get no respect back

Dave jones needs to be driven out on day 1 if he is appointed
He hates us

Forget the fact that he almost made a point of not playing to the fans (and being a miserable fecker), Dave jones did a good job for us, and at the time was torn when we replaced him. He got backed one season, and didn't go up and was gone. I thought maybe it was time for a change, even though we replaced him with an unknown unproven manager from Watford.
We got used to being in the top six with DJ, and a FA Cup final, and it was a great spell for the club. All with a backdrop of constant winding up orders and a complete lack of funds and having guts ripped out of the team and thinking we may go down. His wheeler dealings kept the club alive (apart from selling Ross for £200k wtf). We had a thin squad which cost us at the end of each season, and was the main reason for the bottle tag as they were held together by sticky tape.
This time round would be different. Great squad and quality. No need for dodgy loan signings. I also think this squad would suit him better than Pullis (although my first choice is Pullis). We also need someone with experience of the Champ.
However, they say don't go back, and who knows what Dave Jones is like at the moment- he hasn't set the world alight since he left us -does he have the fight and motivation for the fight ahead of us ?

Shit manager, arrogant person! Not for me... We sacked him, so did sheff wed! Why on earth should we reappoint him?
Can't stand him!
We need a proven gaffer, not this continental crap they are talking about! We are yet again unprofessional and a laughing stock... Havnt we learnt anything from previous? Club is destined for 1 thing and that's imminent failure! It is vital to get this appointment spot on.....

The thing is Blackwood is he is probably as close to a proven gaffer as any of the names being bandied about. Give me DJ over roeder any day. Not saying I want him, but I don't want worse!

Fair comment, we spent a reported 4mil in wages on ole.. When dj was in charge he was on best part of 900k back then.. Tony Pulis took the palace job for £1mil.. Surely we could do better than dj.. It's the concept of a head coach and dof I don't like.. It doesn't work in the British game. Tried tested and failed at many clubs... Proven individuals like redknapp, curbishley, Wilkins have all been dof and not a clue what they were supposed to be doing.
There's a list of proven managers with good tactical awareness and the understanding of what's needed to achieve.. Dj is not one of them, neither is roeder. You have, Pulis, Lennon, hughton, Zola, curbishley, Clarke, di Matteo to name but a few...
We don't have the quality internal either. It is vital tan gets this appointment right or the club could be in an even bigger mess than current..

How about we stop getting on people's backs and support the team? Crazy concept I know.

Dave Jones in , final straw for me , I am out!!

Think you might be asking too much from some of our fans, he didn't do a fist pump . If he is to be given a role then you have to support him, as at the end of the day he is doing his bit for our football club.whoever is appointed, fans need to get behind him,

as a club we want to be moving forward, not backwards, DJ is a backwards step, also means no Premier League whilst he's around, just a load more failures at Wembley.....
Blackwood you missed Kenny Dalglish out of your list for DOF's lol, he was DOF at liverpool back in 2010/11 and ended up managing the squad when it all went horribly wrong under woy woy

and he's back there now as a non-exec director lol

yes i do and i will continue to support anyone at the helm.
