@BBCWalesSport: Tony Pulis will not be considered to succeed Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as Cardiff City manager. He is not an option for owner Vincent Tan.

Foolish
Thu Sep 18, 2014 9:51 pm
Idiots at our club for him not to be considered
Thu Sep 18, 2014 9:51 pm
What an opportunity we're missing out on by here.
Thu Sep 18, 2014 9:52 pm
we are doomed
Thu Sep 18, 2014 9:54 pm
Should I laugh or cry?
Vincent Tan doesn't want Pulis who has years of experience YET he wants/wanted an unknown manager who would rather stay at DUNDEE
Dundee have won 2 and drawn 4 this season (6 games played in total) and sit in 5th place. Perhaps VT has looked at the table and said "Great manager. Hasn't lost all season. Must be unbeatable these days. We must have him"
Thu Sep 18, 2014 9:54 pm
Ok with this as long as Jones isn't the man to replace him
Thu Sep 18, 2014 9:55 pm
ok with this as long as we go with jones
Thu Sep 18, 2014 9:55 pm
as i said earlier from a very good source pullis is staying at tans resort in malaysia at this very moment?
Thu Sep 18, 2014 9:56 pm
What a pile of wank. We have a manager who wants to join us, that most teams in our league and most of the bottom half of the prem would chop their left bollock off for, and tan doesnt want him.
Thu Sep 18, 2014 9:59 pm
not considered

unbelieveable
Thu Sep 18, 2014 10:02 pm
Is it all because of the crystal palace 'spygate' ?

Yes that us true it's one of Tans hotel but it means nothing as Pulis isn't on Tan's list.
Dalman is pushing for Jones take take charge to the end of the season. Tan's not interested in experience he wants somebody that can be his yes man. If he says jump you say how hi boss.
You have Glenn Roeder advising Memhet Dalman on possible applicants.
Don't forget Tan sacked Robert Jarni when he was only 4 points off the top of the league.
The club is a joke at present and it's not going to get any better unless Tan changes his way's - if he doesn't back track and get Pulis - we won't be happy with who else he gets in. He's clueless and out of his depth more than ollie was. He really doesn't care no more it wouldn't surprise me if he lets us rot. If we have to get relegated to get rid of him then so be it. - I know for a fact that Pulis will take the Cardiff job and he would walk to the ground to sign a contract he wants to see Cardiff back in the premiership were we belong. Tan is pig headed and arrogant - yes without his money we would be screwed but I don't think it would have come to that. I have friends in Malaysia we tell me we are a laughing stock over there and think Tans a joke and not well liked.
Cardiff city will never be right until he realises that the fans are the most important people at a football club.
Should do like blackpool and boycott games if nobody turned up he would be losing more money and right make him think differently.

Some fans on here think they are the most important thing on earth.Pullis has said he is not interested and wants to return to PL and to say fans won't accept whoever gets the job because tan choose him,all screaming to get rid ole and will campaign against whoever gets the job unbelievable,I have family and friends in Malaysia and to be honest they don't give toss about Cardiff city over there.

Why should he come to a dysfunctional fucked up club? He will have a premier club before Xmas.Tan if he had any sense would offer him 3 million and hands off!!!! That is not going to happen......... let chaos remain and we will end up with a another
failure
Thu Sep 18, 2014 11:34 pm
Tan hasn't got a f*cking clue about football so we all know that him being in charge of finding a manager is going to be a disaster.

We have some dysfunctional fu***d up fans, that's for sure.
Unless the fans choose the manager and it has to be Pulis in their eyes, then they will criticise and jump down Tan's throat at every opportunity.
Who is to say the BBC Wales sport report is true. It's probably speculation and possibly malicious to try wind up fans against Tan even more.
As a consequence, any new manager other than Pulis will likely be on a hiding to nothing and be under extreme pressure from fans to deliver immediately.
Others on here have said that Pulis is in Malaysia, we can read anything into that and it may be that Pulis is in talks and this report is absolute rubbish.
One final thing, I have to echo that IF, and it's a big IF that if Pulis is not considered it will likely be because Pulis wanting to wait for PL position or because of 'spygate'.
Tan has had his trust destroyed by Malky and Moody, his trust in fans and CCST have been lost because of their increased demand for a return to blue AFTER he had invested MASSIVE amounts and the vitriol and general disdain, hatred from some towards Tan and even OGS.
He is going to want a manager he can trust and maybe his trust in Pulis may be damaged due to 'spygate'.

Craig Bellamy and Tony Pulis are both out of the running to replace Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as Cardiff City manager.
Solskjaer stepped down as Bluebirds boss on Thursday after less than nine months in the role.
Asked if he would take the Cardiff job if owner Vincent Tan called him, ex-Bluebirds forward Bellamy said: "No, certainly not."
Pulis meanwhile is not being considered for the role.
The former Stoke and Crystal Palace boss was favourite with bookmakers and many fans to take over from Solskjaer, but he is not an option that appeals to Tan, reports BBC Sport's David Ornstein.
The Malaysian businessman is unlikely to opt for a big name - with former Bluebirds boss Dave Jones also understood to be out of the running.
Tan is keen for the next appointment to help create a new culture at the Championship club and assume a head coach role, in a more continental set-up, that sees areas such as transfers left to the Cardiff hierarchy.
He is also keen to avoid paying significant compensation to lure an in-work manager out of their current job and will expect the new man to work with the players at his disposal, rather than make substantial changes in January.
He plans to consider younger candidates and coaches already working for the club.
It is not known whether these include veteran defender Danny Gabbidon and Scott Young, who are in temporary charge, and will take control of the team for the visit to Derby on Saturday.
Bellamy, 35, ruled himself out of the running on Thursday.
He made 90 league appearances in two spells with Cardiff City, scoring 17 goals.
The 78-times capped Wales international claimed to have turned down the role before Solskjaer was appointed to replace Malky Mackay in January.
"Look, I had the opportunity at Christmas to do it when Malky left," Bellamy told BT Sport.
"They offered it to me then; whether it was part-time I didn't really give them a chance to get into so much of a conversation.
"It was that simple, I'm not right for the club at this present moment.
"They need to go in a different direction and the club's not right for me at this present moment."
Bellamy retired as a player at the end of the 2013-14 season, and has previously said his ambitions include managing Wales and Cardiff City.
Born and raised in Cardiff, Bellamy secured a place in the club's folklore by helping them secure promotion to the Premier League under Malky Mackay in 2013, and scoring the winning goal in a south Wales derby against Swansea City in 2011.
The announcement of Solskjaer's departure was made after the 41-year-old former Manchester United striker held talks with Cardiff chairman Mehmet Dalman.
The Bluebirds are 17th in the Championship after three losses in seven games, including Tuesday's 1-0 home defeat by Middlesbrough and a 4-2 capitulation against Norwich.

Well done Tan, first your pathetic f*cking stupid rebrand and now this!! Is he doing his best to f**k the club up? Taking the piss out of the fans by continually going against what the majority of us all want. Simple choices Pulis for manager and back to blue next season. A real chance to build bridges with the fans, over to you VT.

Our club is fucked from top to bottom
Pulis is our man - some kid in charge is a disgrace
Tan you really are a clown

Why everybody thought Pulis would come here is beyond me. For most people it was a case of Ole out without thinking of the consequences.
The downward spiral continues..........
