'Solskjaer's Problem' was...

Thu Sep 18, 2014 6:08 pm

As nice and charismatic as he was there is no doubt. His integrity is unquestioned. Managing the day to day Football team ixs the easy part. What Ole had a problem with was the game management: how to make decisions during key moments in the 90 minutes! whether that is winning, drawin or losing.

. The attitude of a Continental style where it is just enough to turn up and play a game was to prove his downfall. Sitting behind 3 years of Parachute payments makes it easy to run down contracts. Big money is being spent that is for sure. And Ole's philosophy was not what Cardiff is all about. I Believe we have a strong squad

And with the right man manager with the tactical know-all to make key decisions during key times during games, Cardiff can rescue the Season.

So lets support rhe new man and get behind the Side. :bluescarf: :bluescarf:

I disagree

I think his game management and tactical nounce was there. He could see what we were doing wrong and tried to fix it, unlike the last two managers.

I think his downfall was the lack of preparation, from preseason, to the game plan, fitness and understanding the opposition, but especially the division. You can't play 442 with Whitts as a center midfield, it doesn't work.

4-4-2, 4-5-1, 4-4-2, 4-3-3 and 3-3-4 were all used against Boro on Tuesday night and none of them worked because the players didn't turn up, that's their fault, Ole was seen trying to sort them out and the buck stops with him as manager..... The players need to take responsibility for their on-field actions (or lack of them as the case may be) and start doing what they are paid to do........
