As someone currently working within the pro game - (fortunately NOT at CCFC!) I understand from first hand experience the recruitment process employers follow when employing coaches and staff. To say someone who was employed just 9 months ago turns out to have a different philosophy to the club is strange- wasn't this discussed prior to the appointment?? From my experiences of the interview process over the past few years I have had to introduce / discuss and justify my coaching philosophy in my initial application even before getting to interview stage.
To my knowledge from speaking to lads I know at other clubs at various levels of the game - this is how appointments are made.
Think about it - have Swansea luckily appointed 4/5 managers on the bounce that all have the same philosophy of play? OR, do you think at some point the club discussed this with the candidates PRIOR to appointing them?
Really scary if this doesn't happen at CCFC... but then again - nothing would surprise me anyone with our club.

I doubt it is anything to do with the philosophy of play. It seems to be about the management of the club with Tan most likely wanting to bring in a Director of Football and Ole not liking it. On the other hand it could be just a fig leaf to cover up the fact that Ole has to go because he is useless!

Results were poor. Just some words to soften the blow, and to avoid embarrassing a decent bloke.
