Here is a scenario we fans have to be prepared for:
A new manager is coming in, and it isn“t Pulis. And if there is no immediate improvements, how long will it take before the fans turn against the new one? I can lively imagine this board in a month or so. "We should have gone for Pulis", "He is just as clueless as the former one", etc. The players seem low in confident at the moment, and this does not change over night.
There are so many examples that a change of manager mid-season does not bring the desired result. A glaring example is Wolves who had the ambition to strike right back after they got relegated from PL, but after sacking their manager mid-season, they ended up being relegated again. I will not claim that sacking Ole was the wrong thing to do (we will never really know), but there is no guaranty for anything. Some players might be happy with the decision, but remember that some came here for him alone (yeah, pluss the money of course..). I can imagine the players are just as divided as the fans right now. Dangerous times indeed.
