' Tony Pulis latest '

Thu Sep 18, 2014 11:19 am

Somebody who was interviewing Tony Pulis today, replied to the following tweet:

@ElliottCantor: @stadiumastro @BelindaChee when is Tony taking over Cardiff City #AskPulis

With this:

@BelindaChee: @ElliottCantor @stadiumastro He told me he has never been approached by Cardiff and that he would prefer to stay in the premier league.

Its true we never have approached him, which to me, shows that we are not looking for the right type of manager.

So is it right that Pulis has, via his agent, made it known that he would be interested in the job but the club have not made any approach to him?

Sounds like they will be looking elsewhere then doesn't it?

Bad decision in my opinion but hey, what's new?

I personally don't think Pulis has ever been in the frame for the job. It's just what most of our fans want so obviously the rumours have started from that. Without a doubt it will be an appointment not many will be happy with. I personally would not be to disheartened if it was not Pulis, but I would want a manager that can control the dressing room.

Told you he will want to work, back in the premi league sadly.

You may very well be right.

Annis was it true that pulis agent has let tan knows he's interested ?

If he isn't interested then fair enough, but if he is and we don't approach him then it's a joke.

Surely he would say this as ole hasn't officially been sacked yet.

Yes and I spoke to someone from the media today and Pulis really wants City to talk to him.
He is out in Malaysia working for the TV company owned by Tan, it all does not make sense.

He is in Malaysia so he can pop over to Vinnies house and have a brew while he is there.

It's less than 48 hours since we lost to Middlesbrough. I wouldn't have expected the club to have had a lot of time to make many approaches yet.

Working for the berjaya and astro companies owned by Tan. Wants the job but no approach made. Something is fishy here

Bizarre, we all know how badly Tan wants his money back ie in the premier league, so they approach a guy managing in the Scottish league that nobody has heard of.....genius.....very shrewd vinnie

Normally it goes that he agents informs the club and the clubs responds or in this case chooses not too

Pulis doesn't want the job IMO. The ITK's on here want the fans to turn on the club even more or Tony's taking us for a ride to boost his profile even more for a new club

Wouldn't be surprised if that was just put out there by people who want to turn Tan into a villain for not hiring him.

NEXT FULHAM MANAGER
Chris Hughton and Glenn Hoddle are 4/1 favourites, Tony Pulis 5/1 with Tim Sherwood .

That makes it even harder for us, Fulham and Newcastle are likely to get the better managers.
