As long as he would come back and give the place a lift rather than be his miserable self which we seen from 2009 onwards. With the squad we have if be willing to put everything I have on us getting top 2 then staying up next year if he was given the funds.
Bring him back I say, Bellamy in the background. And no I'm not on a wind up

How come? I'm not trolling, genuine question.
We had an FA cup final, and nearly got promoted with DJ, and that was with a very tight purse.

The players had no respect for him, certain players even getting pissed before crucial games.
Tactics were non existent, but we played nice football once in every five games.
The collapses and near misses, frequent bottlers.
The arrogance and hatred he had for 'people in this part of the world' was inexcusable.
He left us in a much worst position than when he joined us.
Miserable with no enthusiasm whatsoever.
No motivational skills, hence why we rarely came from behind
Finally, listening to him as a pundit, he doesn't have a clue about the game. Terry Burton must have carried him for years.
Also people go on about Malky's spending to get us promoted, if Dave Jones didn't leave him with around eight first team players, he would have spent much less.
I think that's a fairly balanced assessment

Fair, but In no way did he leave the club in a worse position than when he came in. When he joined we were averaging around 12,000 fans a game and fighting relegation, when he left we were regular promotion favourites attracting 23,000 a game. Not to mention 3 trips to Wembley.
