Owen Coyle

I think he could be a good long term appointment.

That would be the same Owen Coyle who was manager at Bolton when they were relegated from the PL then lasted only 10 games in the Championship with Bolton on 11 points and in 18th place. Last season he took over at relegated Wigan and lasted 16 games this time before being sacked.

Not a very convincing CV Adam.

owen coyle is a bad manager, at wigan he was sacked because apprently he is a pr*ck to players, and they had all lost respect for him way tooo early.

he got bolton relegated, then struggled in the championship and said he was unfairly sacked

Bolton top of the Premier League :? You must be talking about after the opening day after they beat QPR 4-0, top oif the league for 24 hours :laughing5: Notice you haven't mentioned Bolton were bottom of the league 5 games later.

Sorry Adam still not a very convincing CV.

Ruined a good Wigan side. Maybe as it was change of philosophy as Martinez played fluid football? But no thank you. Wouldn't want the man here

He's more or less gone so I can't say yes/no really. I wanted Ole to continue in all honesty but have someone offer him advice, at least be given till 12 games into the Championship but he's not even been given that.

I like the faith you have in Ole but do you honestly think that, if given another 4 games he could prove the majority of fans that he would get us into the top 6?

I have honestly tried to keep the faith in what Ole was trying to do as I believed that if/when the rotation thing started to work it would pay off in the long run. However the constant rotation and changing of players has made the peformances get worse game by game. It is time for him to go before we are dragged into a relegation battle

hhhmmmmmm that's strange because Martinez actually brought a couple of their best players with him and the likes of Victor Moses was sold for £9 million with both James McCarthy for £12 million, Arouna Knoe for £6 million going to Everton with him.

Ruined a good Wigan team..? I'd say they had f**k all there

Its not a long term project as far as Tan is concerned, its success this season he/we want,,,someone who can motivate, discipline, & get results. A good track record of all these qualities is very important, therefore its Tony Pulis that fits the job description.

Agreed but I refuse to accept that Pulis will drop down

I know what your saying, but every one has their price. They could (VT) make him an offer he couldn't refuse,,,without the horses head hopefully!
