Enough is enough

Sadly I think Ole has been given a chance and now needs to move on.
I was willing to give him a chance to build his own squad and philosphy despite having reservations but his time as manager has thrown up nothing but questions for me.

Yesterdays just about sums up his time as manager, the amount of changes he makes doesnt bother me but its the type of changes that he makes confuses me.
Fitness is also a concern, why are players still getting tired during games, why is the palace lad still so over weight.

Last night I felt sorry for our defence, Connolly is only just able to play RB nevermind at Left back, seems especially silly when we have Gabbidon on the bench and already sent out McNaughton loan who would have filled in nicely. To move Connolly to Left back meant an entire new CB partnership at this point in the season is crazy especially when it wasnt needed.

The midfield I just dont understand, surely if your playing 4 in midfield you either have Width and get over run a little in the middle of the park or play it narrow and give the defence some solid cover - We did neither.
Second half Gunnar came on to I thought tighen up the midfield but I could not tell you how the midfield was set up, players roaming around lost, no boro players being picked up, it was awful. Whitts in a central midfield 4 just will not work, I would think thats obvious to most people.

The strikers had no service and it wasnt through lack of effort just the way we set up.

I do question people claiming we have the best squad in the championship, I look at the team and the individuals and see a lack of quality, has ole bought poorly or is it the set up, im unsure so far im hoping its the set up.

I really wanted Ole to do well and for me it was still 100% the correct decisiont to sack Malky but sadly it hasnt worked with Ole. He seems a good man, I like the fact after a win he just goes down the tunnel and lets the players take the praise while after a loss he will come over to the fans and take the blame but that doesnt make up for the fact we are a shambles.

I look at the list of replacements and none excite me if im honest, someone mentioned Howe at Bourmemouth who I thought would be ideal but not sure he is the type of name the club would want or if he would want to come.

Rant over.
