I can see Ole going

Wed Sep 17, 2014 7:39 am

If we lost to Derby prob, but Def if we lost to Derby and at home to Sheff Wed.

I was told late last night, that the regime have lost all confidence in Ole.

Why wait for us to lose two more games and drop into the bottom 3.. The evidence is clear that we will go no where with him... We should act now....

Because I think they will be thinking, we have invested Millions in Ole and just maybe? a little more time is needed?

what decent manager would work under Tan?

Re: I can see Ole going

Wed Sep 17, 2014 7:44 am

Just heard his "that's football" comment on BBC. Totally clueless. If that's the best he can come up with he should just "no comment". I get the impression looking at the body language that the players haven't a clue what they're being asked to do. No pattern, no structure, too many changes, too many playing out of position.....

If we couldn't get pulls then I think we should look at Neil Lennon... Can't see him taking any messing, proven at champions league level and as passionate as they came...

I don't see how we have time either... The investment is on the pitch. Xxx million and we need to get them playing and motivated ASAP.

I hate it when people say that !

Why wouldn't you want to work with him here .

Big ex premier league club
Large transfer kitty's every year and decent money January
Very good existing squad that just needs direction
New impressive stadium
Would be paid very well compared to other managers at this level
Would be given every tool needed by tan to be successful , just like he did for Malky and ole .

Tan has Made a lot of mistakes but you can't say he doesn't back his managers , most of the stories about him are blown out of proportion anyway !

I think a lot of managers would want the job if it becomes available

Tan seems to have some respect fort Dave Jones - could he possibly come back??!! ( With that squad he would at least do better than Ole )

AS long as he could bring Terry Burton with him, as Terry did all the coaching while Dave played his golf

I'd be all for Neil Lennon, who got mentioned above. and Zola, who got mentioned in another thread. When you think about it, there are quality managers out there who we could bring in that would fit our new style far better than Tony Pulis.

I like Ole, I even called for him to be given 20+ games on Saturday night, or even a full season, but I just can't sit in the stands and watch a manager repeatedly have zero tactical influence on a game.

Our new style?? I'm glad you've been able to work out what it is. I don't even think the players know it :)

For all the tactical issues with the team, and Ole's style not coming through how we all anticipated, you can't say we aren't playing a different style to under the previous manager. Our passing is different, our full backs play much differently, etc.

Obvious jokes to one side, the team DO play a different style of football to 12 months ago.

If it's pullis get him in now before Newcastle go for him.

Any manager would work with Tan, he has backed previous manager's to the hilt.

Agree lacking confidence as a group, since last min wolves goal, poor organisation, trys to fit players in for the hell of it, out of position, Sad to say think his race has run!

for me, Chris hughton, Tim Sherewood or maybe even Michael laudrup :)

I think you'll be surprised if the job is offered who will come!!

I hope so.

I've backed Ole in the past, but he's clueless - I was wrong.

We're three points off the bottom three.

I will take you back to last season away at Sunderland. I was talking to cowies dad and Cowie had just been picked to play .he had previously been left out for three wks and Cowie had told his dad that none of the players knew what was going on and didn't have a clue what he was trying to do. Now that had come from playing staff it appears that is still the case.

I've heard Ollie is on 2 mill a yr, if that's the case there would be a massive queue of applications
