Rubbish how about dropping the rest of the team, Whitts rarely misses a pass but if there are no players giving him the option to pass too, that is when there is every chance that he will lose the ball, you need to look at the rest of the team, instead of making Whitts the whipping boy!

Im quite concerned about Daehli at the moment, I feel he hasnt been very effective this season, and whilst he is surely going to develop into a special player I feel he is perhaps a luxury player that we do not have room for in this current 'blip'

A mate of mine made a good point yesterday, all the money thats been spent and players that have been brought in, and yesterday you would have given you right bollock to have Mcnaughton recalled from his loan!

Guerra and Manga for me.

Don't even think Marshall has played to his normal high standards and making him captain has made the team struggle further. A keeper cant get the message across and cajole like an outfield player.

I don't know what game your watching, whitts always picks up the ball with his back facing goal,he goes sideways and backwards he cannot pass forwards tackle or track back.he's in for his deliveries and they are poor at the moment. He has had his day

I cant see how you can pick them 2 as your first 2 names on the team sheet, we havent seen anywhere near enough of them. Your point about Marshall is a good one though, a point that was in discussion in and around me in the terraces yesterday, how many good GK captains have there been? not be many at all, you could count them on your hand.

As for my picks, For me Marshall (no brainer and a bit of a cop out picking him) Im a bit stuck for the second player, perhaps Kenwyne, i base that on what we have seen this season, lazy but likely to get us goals, or maybe Fabio perhaps as we are limited at LB

With regards to Kenwyn though, if he was to be dropped and another 2 strikers playing together, would our midfielders be less intent on playing high balls into the box, and try something new?

Mcnaughton should never have been sent out on loan, that decision has come back to bite OGS in the ass.
Daehli could be major for us if played correctly within the right formation as it stand i think he is just another victim of OGS strange selection policy.
I mean if you can't utilise a lad that looked class in the PL then there is something wrong with how he is being managed and set up in within the team.
He was man of the match for us against fulham then again man of the match for norway against italy, and what does OGS do? He dropps him and plays the technically vastly inferior Gunnar in the kids natural position. That just about sums up his predicament within the team.
I expected OGS to build his team around Daehli or at least play a style of football that suits him, but we are playing hoof ball at kenwyne for the most part. Its obvious that this isn't gonna suit a small technical player like him.
First to names on the team sheet Marshall and Brayford possibly Manga but its too early to tell.

If Pulis gets Ole's job, I can see the first name on the team sheet being Kenwynne Jones and the second being Ben Turner, to help launch aerial balls to him! :) :old:

Guerra and Manga

And that is absolute rubbish KJ and Ben Turner if Pulis. Yes he played the long ball and played a very physical team with a Stoke team lacking any technique or skill he used what he had well. When he went to Palace he played quick counter attacking football which at times looked quality. 100 better than what we had last night that performance was 100% route one. We have a squad and with organisation and someone picking our best players like Guerra and Manga we will be more than fine.

Not a lot of difference to OGS way of playing then.
