' Totally over the top and No respect '

Mon Sep 15, 2014 8:55 am

The reaction by so called fans is imo pathetic and over the top.

6 games in to the new season and lets get rid of our manager who has assembled the best squad ever (so say most on here)

2 wins 2 draws and 2 loses.

Against Blackburn, wigan, huddersfield, wolves, fulham and Norwich 8 points

Not many teams will win at wolves or Blackburn

Wigan and Norwich will pick up many wins and draws away from home

So how many more points should/could we have expected?

Fitness doubts and injuries have not helped ole with his team selections
and inconsistency of our players has contributed to our poor performances

Lets just look at one player peter Whittingham

being honest he has been very poor but looking at fans team choice he is allways included more than not
Posters on here keep saying oles teams and tactics are not upto it but then pick practically the same team as ole
so come on pick your team for Tuesday and give us your tactics and tell us what your team talk would be
ill give you mine in a minute

but I must say how disappointed I am in the total disrespect being shown to our manager at present by fans calling for him to be replaced by pulis etc just think ,who knows our squad best ole or pulis, imo ole will get it right given time and a fully fit squad so just be carefull what you wish for
im still convinced fans are so hatefull of tan for our rebranding that they are trying to use ole against tan just like they did with malky only difference being they supported one so fervently (and look what he ended up doing to us ) and the other one they are showing no support or respect to because hes tans man (are our fans really like sheep just following the leader)or do they really have there own thoughts hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Now back to the football my team for Tuesday (assuming my choices are fit to play )
marshall
brayford (as theres no other choice)
manga
Connelly
Fabio (would of been john but the way hes been unjustly slated he will need his confidence lifted)
noone
dikgiqio
adeymi
deilhi
jones
Guerra
4 4 2 formation 2 holding midfielders keeping a high line winning the ball back higher up the field and getting the ball as quick as possible to noone and deilhi with both fullbacks over lapping or supporting our wingers
I would tell the team to get in as many crosses from the byline as possible
my team talk would emphasize doing everything quickly wingers to stay wide defend from the front keep a high line and when defending press the ball not back off and relax as we are so much better than the opposition we don't need to worry about them as they are shitting themselves not knowing how to cope with our play now go out there and put the Norwich result / performance right because we are Cardiff city and we will allways be blue :bluescarf: :ole:

I can't be bothered to read it, I would suggest to make around 4-6 points a post as its a more leisurely, pleasurable read :bluescarf: :bluescarf:

Criticism of city fans for wanting ole out (spotted at the start then lost interest) formations, team selections, predictions, tactics, all at a guess, still haven't read it :) :bluescarf:

Edit: you win, have read now :thumbright: :thumbright:

So if you don't agree with with post you don't read or want to debate
Thought that was what a forum was all about
However I do think this forum is totally biased :bluescarf: :ole:
And think you just supported my belief :bluescarf:

The fact that you assume that people are doubting OGS, just because they dislike the rebrand is absolutely ridiculous.

Actually that makes sense, all opinions welcome and I apologise for making a silly comment. I disagree with your assessment that fans should be patient with Ole. It's the nature of the job an he has to deal with it. Also City fans are knowledgable and rightly believe Pulis would secure a promotion and PL football for years to come :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :bluescarf:

Re: totally over the top and no respect

We'll see the thread titled why pulis
And the assumption that pulis would get us promoted is certainly questionable hmmmmm :bluescarf: :ole: o

Steve, youve just said on the phone its not Oles fault its the players and when I said they are his players and you said not all of them :o

Ole could of got rid of who he wanted this Summer and brought in who he wanted, Yes or No ?

Ole has said himself, its his squad and he is responsible.

For me Its Ole's team and Oles tactics end off.

Also ive just had to spend 10minutes sorting yr post out and its still hard to read

Steve, is it you with the Agenda? as you cant see what thousands of others can see, a clueless manager, who has spent Millions.

If that is true, then what a crazy statement to make. ole himself has said that this is his squad now, nor more ifs and buts.

His words.

Troobloo where was this pace width and crosses you go on aboit Saturday? The fact ole had gunnarsson on the right wing second half says it all for me, and took kenwynne off for Maynard? What's that all about?
And where was guerra? Everyone can see whittingham is doing f**k all in the middle of the park but ole keeps picking him? Ole signed Morrison who quite frankly was diabolical Saturday.
You me and everyone else can see where ole is going wrong but the only person who can't see what's going wrong is ole himself?
If we don't beat boro tomorrow then would you still defend ole and if so on what basis what is he doing right exactly apart from a few good signings?

After Saturdays game, we had 50/50 as stickies, yet 9/10 topics from City fans were against Ole.

You get at least 1 out of 2 topics made stickies, True?

Im all for giving him time but anything but a win tomorrow and he needs to go. Best squad in the league and not one good performance this season.

Was angry saturday, better today. First 35 mins against Norwich was bulls eye, but the next 55 I blame Ole and players. But ROME wasnt built in one day. Tbh Ole need to deliver soon, very soon. Our squad, earning 20k + a week should really start deliver to, about time

I never demanded that Malky still needed more time, 9 months and two transfer windows into the job. :thumbright:

I have been nothing but pragmatic regarding the re-brand but I was one of the first on here to call for Pulis on Saturday evening and the reason is simple, we look like a disorganised rabble and not a football team. Write any job description for a football manager and a core responsibility will be organisation, organisation of the team, formation and tactics and sadly OGS has and continues to underperform in this area.

I have never blamed OGS for the relegation last season but I do believe his constant swapping and changing of the team and tactics resulted in us finishing bottom of the table. He appears to have learned little as in terms of organisation we appear no further forward, the current top 6 teams in the Championship have settled on thier starting team and tactical formations and that organisation has been a major reason why they occupy the positions they do.

I believe a manager like Pulis, with this squad, would have our starting 11 and main tactical formation sorted in 2-3 games and every player would know exactly what's expected of them. I believe OGS even if it's only 6 games in has any idea what his best team or tactical formation is.

OGS is a charming and very likeable man but this is football and right now forget Pulis I would rather have that miserable bugger Dave Jones in charge because like him or not give DJ £12M and where do you think he would have the team after 6 games.

I really don't understand how people can continue to stick up for Ole after the pathetic football we have seen since he has taken over.
He hasn't only had 6 games. He had a fair few games last season too unless you wasn't aware?
His record is worse than Malky's was. Our football under Malky perhaps wasn't hugely entertaining but he got us results.

I'm not judging Ole purely on the 6 league games he has had this season, I'm judging him on the many more games he has had to stamp his authority along with his pathetic body language on the touchline - He just stands there with his arms crossed or his hands in his pocket without shouting a word.

Top post,,,& what will be will be,,,but the writing is clearly on the wall regarding OGS's managerial credentials.

I really do hope he proves us all wrong, well most of us anyway.

No point using the word respect around our fans, they don't have an ounce of it in them.
