Pulis Style?

A lot of people calling for pulis to take charge.
Given on his record as a manager and what he done with stoke and palace I have to agree.
Just wondering do people know what type of football stoke and palace played and how pulis seems to be as a manager? I seem to remember palace playing a 4-2-3-1?
