Anyone going up for the weekend. never been before any advice on good safe places

We go every year if Blackpool or Preston are in our division.Last time we went we found a tidy pub in the back streets.It was the Carpenters arms.Good old spit and sawdust type.And good cheap beer.I am ashamed to say that i awoke the next morning with a blow up sheep cwtched up in my bed.We are now happily married.

I assume a quite a few will be up for this trip. Never been before so excited for this. Does your inflatable sheep have any lady friends

I've done a Blackpool weekender many times. It's a cracking city. However, I've never done the football weekender and never actually been inside Bloomfield Road either. I'm staying in the Queens Promenade Hotel which is in my opinion the perfect location. I've stayed in this hotel a few years back and it is good value for money!
Blackpool has a huge amount of clubs and is well known for the nightlife. Head towards Pleasure Beach and there are loads of places you will enjoy from clubs, amusements & restaurants.

Only my dog.They have a machine in the Carpenters where you can buy all sorts of blow up things.

Great place. I'm staying in marton mere caravan park. A mile from the centre. Stayed there 2 years ago too. Great place to stay, lots of city fans stay there too.

Stayed here twice in previous visits and be there again. Take the family every time so they get a break at same time. As you said Marton Mere is a gd park and always a few City there.

Get in the tower lounge full of Cardiff

Great place. I'm staying in marton mere caravan park. A mile from the centre. Stayed there 2 years ago too. Great place to stay, lots of city fans stay there too.

Absolute shit hole. So much so that i refused to stay there last time we played blackpool. Went out and stayed in Manchester travelled to Blackpool from manc for the game.

You're spoilt for choice in Blackpool at this time of year. Make sure you get up there early on Friday and get to the Manchester Bar a few hours before kick off. Packed with City with a DJ blasting out City songs. I have yet to go anywhere that beats the Manchester Bar for a pre game atmosphere!

done blackpool 14 times since 80s most weekenders with city the manchester bar is lively and has scantilly clad dancers there altho it does get overcrowded and a few scraps have started there my personal choice and a lot of city go to the castle bar up by the casino under the tower the dj there is bonkers a bit like a roy chubby brown wannabee but great atmosphere in there and theres a pub on the pier called the british something or other has similar entertainment and lots of slappers in there thats the place to pull lol but they got flares up the top end walkabout and tower lounge but ur paying big bucks all along the prom
