Morrison Awful

Sun Sep 14, 2014 5:09 pm

I've just watched the highlights of yesterday's game and I'm sorry but Morrison was sleeping for every single goal conceded. If that's what he is gonna be like all season then we are fucked, I'd drop him personally,
Manga and turner will make it a good partership at the back.

Right, because you know exactly how Manga and Turner would work when playing together.

Easy to say a player looks awful, when he's had no pre season with rest of squad. Ogs biggest mistakes are signing players too late. Morison, magno, pilkington and adeyemi all joined after start of season. The other mistake is the lack of pace. Good teams all have 3or 4 quick players.

Most peoples teams on here include Manga & Morrison but why would you drop Connolly for Morrison at the moment?
Connolly's been one of the best players so far this season so why drop him like a stone just because Morrison cost a few mill?
Play Manga & Connolly Tuesday & stick with them regardless for a good run.
Get some continuity & understanding going.

Di Maria was man of the match today for man united and he didn't have pre season with the team so that proves what you just said is incorrect

In your opinion. Top quality world class players can generally fit into most teams however di Maria played against qpr who are one of worst teams. Had he played v Chelsea or citeh and not scored you may well be agreeing with my statement.

That was just an example as to why I don't agree with your statement. You can't balm morrisons poor play on the fact he is new to the team.

Adeyemi has impressed, he is new to the team so again that proves what you said is incorrect.

Morrison was shit yesterday end of, and if he carrys on like that I wouldn't have him anywhere near the team or we will be fucked

Fair enough. All about opinions. I wasn't there so can't really comment. Just wish he'd play a set team so all players could get used to system.

Ole was signing players very early in the transfer window. If he signed them late then thats hardly his fault, some transfers take ages and theres not a lot you can do about that.

Adeyemi had one good game, I wouldn't say he has impressed in general. The jury still out on him.

Why did he leave it so late?
I thought he was being commended for his early purchases (unlike Malky)?

All those players had been in full pre season training and some were even playing for their teams in matches. So fitness not a problem. This gelling a team excuse is also rubbish as it is the same for all teams, not just ours.

Agree about the complete lack of pace in our team. It was obvious from last season there is no pace but nothing had been done to alter that. Except play Gunnarsson as a winger ffs.
