my younger brother has been diagnosed with "petit mal" a form of epilepsi, and after around 2 years we had a letter with a load of information. the letter stats on one line
"he was seen by seceral paediatricians who felt it wasnt epilepsy initially and ultimately he didn't have an EEG until november 2012. This was unstable and a sleep EEG in january 2013 found likely primary generalised epilepsy so he was started on treatment by doctor ......"
we are just wondering if that is mal-practice as it comes across they didnt believe he had epilepsy so didnt bother testing him. can anyone confirm or deny this please.

If there's no harm done and he's now getting the treatment he needs then it's now sorted.
Just move on
