We have a brand new squad full of exciting players
Probably the best squad we've ever had
We are 5 points off automatic promotion
We just played our best football of the season yesterday and dominated a very good norwich team first half scoring two very good goals in the process
We have 3 big players for us about to step into the team ( Noone , manga , Dahlei ) who will make a huge difference
We have had a very tough opening set of fixtures against team who will expect to be top 6 at the end of the season ( norwich , Fulham , Blackburn , wolves , Wigan )
And we want to sack the manager after 6 games

we've had it too good for too long on the pitch
Ole will sort it out

I wish I could agree.

The game lasts ninety minutes not forty five .we only played for forty five

I will just say this, Ole is a nice guy, gentleman, sincere and honest,he has assembled the best squad outside the Premier League, money has been no problem.
But The Premier League and The Championship is way out of his League and sadly for us and Ole I honestly believe no matter how much you give him, Ole will not take us up. Lets hope he really can prove many of us wrong, but I really honestly can never see it, come May, we will be lucky to be midd table.

30 minutes actually. After that Norwich dominated and that end to the first half should have told us everything. We did nothing about it for the second half.

prozac kicked in?
Point 1 - agree - shame the manager has no understanding of how to use it!
Point 2 - and just as close to relegation!
Point 3 - And totally fecked up good and proper in the 2nd half, why? simple, no leader on the side, Ole shoudl be up in the stands seeing all that we can see before it happens, everone yesterday was saying Norwich would get back into the game.
Point 4 - Manga and Guerra, the other two are not battlers, we need a beast in the middel of the park in front of the defence and make him captain!
Point 5 - and City are always crap against the worst teams!
Point 6 - he'd better hurry, he might not be around very long!!!

Not at all , ole needs more than 6 games to get it right , this is a 46 game season .
Look at man utds record under van gaal so far ! It's awful but they are not calling for his head .
Forget last season that was Malkys piss poor team not oles ! Ole should be judged on this year and doing that after 6 games is not fair . He deserves until Christmas .
I do agree that second half was awful . But shit happens !
It's not the first time and it won't be the last .
The last thing this team needs Tuesday is the fans turning on the manager IMO

I disagree about the squad, it is no better than last year! Pilkington, Diga, Adyemi, LeFondre, Morrison are they better than Kim, Mason, Cowie, Conway, Hudson, Gestede... The answer simply is NO.

I don't know if Ole will be a success or a complete failure, but to suggest sacking your manager just 6 league games into the season seems a bit extreme. What if another manager is appointed and things remain similar after another 6 games. We could end up having half a dozen managers in one season. I think to sack a manager so early into the season is just hitting the panic button. If we are having the same problems after maybe 12 to 15 games, then perhaps I would back those wanting a change of manager, but way too early yet.
Sun Sep 14, 2014 10:56 am
Why are people still saying he has only had six games.
Sun Sep 14, 2014 11:04 am
Will people stop saying ole won't take us up, we are in the relegation mix......
Its not 6 games. Ole took us over when we were 15th in the premier league, we are now 15th in the championship !!!!!!
Not too worried by the league position as it it is still very early, but the total lack of a style of play, and it obvious Ole hasn't got a clue about his core group or where to play them.

We are doing ok,,,,to be relegated. We will be in the bottom three by the end of next month, if things don't change.
Sun Sep 14, 2014 11:28 am
I hope your right. Manga, Noone, Daehli, agree they will make a difference. But you forget GUERRA. His touch is excellent, could someone close to Ole ask why on earth Guerra isnt picked? After Marshall, Guerra would be my second pick out of the whole squad. Happy we have a new match on Tuesday and that Monks men was whipped last night

Wayne S wrote:Why are people still saying he has only had six games.
I actually said 6 league games into the season which is correct. I will be more critical of him this season, as this is now very much his team, rather than one that he inherited. I am prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt as far as last season is concerned, as he was working with a group of players that he would not necessarily have chosen if he had been responsible for building that particular team. He has put this squad together, is totally responsible for selection and tactics, and can now be fairly judged on performances and results. Not been up to the required standard so far, but as I said, we are only 6 games into the league season.

I'm pretty sure Tan won't be thinking that way specially with the amount of money he has sanctioned.
The problem Tan has here is that Ole is his man or should I say his cronies man who he chose himself. If things continue as they are Tan is going to have to admit that he made a mistake which is something he just can't accept or overcome. Of course if Ole resigns...............
Sun Sep 14, 2014 11:49 am
Personally I cant see Tan doing anything until January when Ole's one year rolling contract is up,by then we will all know if he is going to seriously challenge for promotion.
Sun Sep 14, 2014 1:39 pm
Its continually rolling- today he had 12 months left then next week he still has 12 months left....

No think he's just bringing some perspective to the forum
He's spot on those 6 sides will all harvest ambition for auto promotion
I'll admit we haven't played our best football yet either I'm sure it will come soon
I still think we will be thereabouts come may
What people also have to remember is that 80% of clubs don't bounce back and some have had better squads than we have!!
Wolves a prime example double relegation
This league is unforgiving and I'd just like to think some of our fans actually think before they rant
We were in this league for years knocking around the play offs without really getting any better and why was that?
Cos this league is so tough and looking back DJ done a fantastic job just to keep us challenging year on year
Some people have short memories
Sun Sep 14, 2014 4:47 pm
Said at start of season bottom 8 in relagation battle for the year ole is trying to copy ferguson methods and it's not working. He has no ideas of his own if he had any pride he would walk away now and admit he's not up to task
Sun Sep 14, 2014 8:01 pm
so out of his depth its unbelievable. ole is lucky he has a decent squad so we will probably finish mid table if he was to stay all season, if he had an average squad then i think it would be relegation on current showing
