Firstly, I'm not ITK. Its second hand info but from someone who is very friendly with VT. For those who read it, you will know I told you about Tan strongly thinking about a return to blue weeks before the Hudson tweet which sparked a mini frenzy. Well since then I've been told why, as well as some other things. Tan will only go back to blue if we are outside the top 2 come time for kit submissions, this is because of the end of the price freeze. If we are in automatics come time of kit submissions, then we stay red. Tan is already asking the relevant governing body for extra time to submit so the picture is as clear as possible. Tan has also told the club to never allow the official attendance to drop below 20,000 for a home league game even if they have to doctor the numbers and he will pay the extra himself. Lastly, and more concerning, Ole and Tan DO discuss team selection and substitutions whether reluctantly on Ole's part I don't know, but he is certainly compliant.
Thats all ive got, take it as you wish.

We will never ever return to blue under Vincent Tan....he would lose to much face back home.
As for Tan being petrified of losing fans.....Bit late he and the club have already lost them, we will not get a crowd over 25,000 this season, take a look at the ground yesterday there was no way there was 20,000+ it looked more like 16,000.

Not sure if this is genuine however none of it would be a surprise to me . Reckon Tuesday will be the clubs lowest league gate for many years. Possibly 16/ / 17k . Can't see more than 300 boro turning up. Wonder what they will announce .

Mate, I'm sure you mean well but there's so many on here that think they know shit it's unbelievable.
How can you expect to post such controversial stuff like that without a shred of proof is beyond me.
So Annis is going to come on here & state your 100% correct & its 100% true & going to happen? Come on!

TheRow, not disbelieving you but with accusations of back handers, little brown envelopes, etc. do you really think that Mr Tan would get embroiled in massaging figures when he himself is trying to stamp it out?

What kind of proof would you be looking for though. It is a conversation i had with someone who is very well informed when it comes to Tan. All I can say is my post history will, in time, show i don't make stuff up. I already said about the blue back way before it was being talked about and stated the same source at the time. Im sure Annis will vouch for me that im a good poster and not a troll.

Well, i do yes because i know that this is what he has said. Its not illegal to buy your own tickets is it? He wants the club to be able to announce 20,000+ attendances every match if there is a shortfall - he covers it. Whether that has happened already i couldnt tell you, but that is the intention.

It's being going on for years, think back to the 80's and 90's at NP, most crooked attendance figures ever!
Sun Sep 14, 2014 10:18 am
If the club are not already trying to counteract the end of the price freeze, they are more amateur than I ever thought.
If we are not in the Premier League next season, the season ticket sales will plummet at these prices.
Although the price freeze initially seemed to be a good thing many fans now have 5 years of price increases to catch up on.
It is time for a British chairman to bite the bullet and see what fans bring to a club. Follow the German model and budget from your advertising and TV money.
Write off turnstile takings in return for larger crowds and more support for the team.
Pity British chairman are only here to screw as much money as they can out of the game.

I remember one game in the Sam hamman days that the ground was packed and the attendance was announced as 12k and the whole stadium laughed

What's wrong with Tan buying seats? Its not a back hander.
Its not like in years gone by when they kept the attendance low to avoid tax.

We will see when we play Bournemouth in the cup. If its 20000 then we know something is hmmmm!!

Then I suggest that Vincent Tan arrange a meeting with the board of directors & executive management & come up with some solutions. Please let me start;
1. Return us Back to Blue, with a proper Cardiff City FC badge.
2. Set next seasons prices at more affordable price points.

Haven't they sold about 20,000 season tickets
Anyway, so if only 10,000 turn up they can still say
20,000 turned up, there paid for anyway, season ticket holders
Are not turning I would say 4000 to 5000 guess

I was told 17000 sold.

Tans people read this forum so im sure he will be notified of the fans reactions.

Think we sold 18000 season tickets
They count wether they turn up or not
So if the gate is given as 21500 then that means only 3500 tickets are sold to non season ticket holders and away fans
Can't see us ever being under 20000 on that basis
Except for cup games as season tickets don't count
Don't see how the Bournemouth cup game can be used as a example
