Thoughts/Observations following Norwich game

We overpaid for Morrison and Pilkington - they are nothing special and no better than Turner, Hudson and Noone.
Goalkeeper as Captain doesn't work.
Declan John needs to go out on loan.
OGS needs a better defensive coach to assist him.
Kenwyne Jones substitution was a nonsense.
Atmosphere this season is almost non existent.
Crowd figure announced continues to be a farce.
OGS doesn't know his best team.
Macheda isn't fit enough for 90 minutes play.
OGS will be gone by Christmas.

The only thing I agree with in that list is that Ole doesn't know his best team.

The only thing I disagree with in that list is that Ole will be gone by Christmas...it'll be well before that!

My observations:
Good points
The two goals we scored were well taken
Bad points
Lack of pace around the park
Too slow in possession/ponderous - 2/3 touch football
No leader(s) on the pitch
Whitts as a DM doesn't work - never has really
At the moment our only tactic seems to be to launch it to Kenwynne to hold it up - if Turner gets in the side this will just get worse with his left to right hoofs!
I think Ole will be given another month or so on current form. There is so much riding on promotion this season. As much as the club try to persuade us otherwise the attendances are well down and the price freeze ends this season. We've got a new tier on the Ninian which seemed ill advised and at what cost to stick it on. Unfortunately, if results don't pick up the crowds will fall away further and the atmopshere will just get worse. Not to mention all of this against a backdrop of the red/blue etc
