Wrong. He is not "totally shit" He is however not what we need at Left back. He may be a good attacking winger, he often gets a shot in but we have other players who can do that. Our problem is that he can' t defend in the way that we need him too. personally I would sell him and if that's not possible loan him out. Either way he is a long way off being what we need in the Championship.

How can anyone single anyone out from that performance? Declan is a very good player and definitely good enough for us, just needs a run in the team.

They dominated the last 15 minutes of the first half against us down Fabio's side! The problem with Fabio and John was they both had Macheda in front of them on the left wing, which wasn't Macheda's fault, but Ole's fault for changing the system and playing yet another player out of position!!

Fabio was crocked, that's why they had more joy down that wing at the end of the first half.

John was piss poor.

and gunnerson didn't give the ball away first half for them to score and Morrison didn't give a misplaced pass to ralls in the first half for them to score and marshall wasn't asleep in the first half for them to score

John is definitely not a fullback! His defensive abilities are well below par but he does look decent going forward. We were crying out for a left midfielder today and he could have done a job there. I actually felt sorry for him today. He had no cover from Macheda and Redmond was eating him alive. I don't think he made one tackle or stopped once cross, and his positioning was all over the place. He looked exactly what he is, a young winger who someone has tried to convert into a fullback!

he had a poor half, but so did everyone else. fair enough if you thought whatever you said here before today, but knee jerk reactions don't help anyone.

Declan John has been making the same mistakes from the first game at West Ham last season to today, a ball over the top of him and the ball inside him causing the centre half to come over and leave a hole. He is either is not having the right coaching or he is not good enough, personally as much as it saddens me to say as he is a local boy he is not good enough.

I was slaughtered for saying that he should go on loan. Haven't seen anything to suggest he is good enough for us at this stage of his career.
