NEW PLAYERS ??

Personally, I cant see us keeping Matthews or Ledley. Jay/Ross/Chops/Whitts are 50/50. I think personally we need a big target man as competition/backup for Jay, a gritty, no nonsense midfield player to help whitts, and 2 good reliable defenders, being a left back and a centre back.
So how about this

Steve Howard - Already being thrown about that we've bid, good back up for Jay.

Gylfi Sigurdsson - Cracking player this year at Reading, the catalsyt for everything they do at Reading, their top scorer, amazing left foot and top quality player (POSIBLE REPLACEMENT FOR JOE/WHITTS?)

Shaun Derry - Available on a free. Born leader, No nonsense, in your face, but talented centre mid. Was pivotal in saving Palaces season this year, would be wicked competition for rae/ledley (if joe stays).

Frack Qeudrue - Premierhsip class full back, wicked left foot, widely experienced, IFFFFF available on small wages, would be a great aqusition.

Also now that Newcastle have gone up their are likely to overhaul large parts of their squad maybe MIKE WILLIAMSON (CB) and DANNY GUTHRIE (CM)...may be worth a shot, if available for decent prices/wages ...

I don't think Chops would be too happy to see Derry join us.

It all depends how much money is available , if any , to DJ over the next few weeks and if he has to sell to buy in 1st ?

It's gonna be quiet on the transfer talk for about 3 weeks. Until we know who's going and staying, we cant really speculate as to who we should bring in.


p.s. - we haven't bid for Howard, Jones has merely made an enquiry. (we are still under a transfer embargo remember!)

Not really contradicted I said they are 50/50. They are just sugggestion if they stay etc...and I was just bandying about ideas for players... (Y)
