Adams fears that former Canary Pilkington could undo his side today
Republic of Ireland winger Pilkington is looking forward to facing Norwich for the first time since his £1m summer switch.
And Adams said: "I'm sure Pilks will be fired up against us and it's always in the back of your mind that one of your former players will come back to hurt you."
Another former Canary standing in Adams' way is Cardiff goalkeeper David Marshall.
“He is fantastic and was absolutely outstanding for Cardiff last season in the Premier League”

"He is fantastic and was absolutely outstanding for Cardiff last season in the Premier League," said Adams.
"He kept his team in so many games almost single handed and some of the saves he made were simply world class.
"In my opinion he was the best goalkeeper in the Premier League last season and he deserved all the plaudits that came his way."
