He's already quoted many times saying he would return to old trafford one day.

not only would he pay for himself raising the profile of man u, he'd also raise the profile of the whole league, should it happen.

i can't see any reason for him to go to united though. he probably makes more money off the field than on it, and is playing for the best club side in the world. why leave?

He will make utd double what they pay him in commercial deals. I remember Beckham at the time paid his whole contract up in one week in shirt sales for real Madrid

What I understand of Ronaldo's wages is he was on £300,000 per week before Bale went to Madrid but Ronaldo instantly wanted a pay rise as he thought he should be the highest earner. I'm positive that I read that his wages went closer to the £320,000 per week mark.
I can't see him joining Utd for the fact that he is on more than £300,000 now and also he is playing Champions League football with probably the best team on the planet. If Rooney is on £300,000 then Ronaldo is worth 10 times that amount
