Norwich home time to find out how good we really are

Wed Sep 10, 2014 9:12 pm

It's time to stand up and be counted.
We've had some tough away tests and a bit of bad luck. We've also played some stuff that is simply not good enough for a team regarded one of the best sides in the league.

So far regardless of our squad we look like a team ''in my view'' that will be pushing for 6th spot come winter Not promotion.

This is the game for me that we assess how good we are and really how much we have compared to Norwich what I feel is important is we can show we can dictate Norwich and take the game to them, be the dominant force on the day even if we get unlucky but we absolutely smash them on footballing and work rate terms we can take alot of confidence from that because they are a top championship side.
I feel like we are only just waking up from pre season getting to full speed in terms of fitness and gelling together and tomorrow has to be the day we deliver if we are serious contenders

I agree Norwich home is a massive test for us, but I do expect a City win :thumbright: :ayatollah:

Saturday is when ole needs to stand up and be counted as a manager. We need to see a good performance on the pitch by the side and not hoof ball or any other shades of shite which has been seen at times. Ole needs to get his players up for this and the team needs to show us what they are capable of.

If we win or draw this I can take positivity from the result in our season going forward and can still be hopefull of promotion even with a draw as Norwich are a good side.

If we lose then this is a worry and mid table obscurity could be written on the wall or a play off chase.
Don't get me wrong I would take play offs at the end of the season but that's how I see it anyway.

Far from it, a loss don't have to mean anything. The way I see it they will catch the majority of points in the second half of the season, and we need to appreciate the amount of games it takes to gel now in the beginning of the first half of the season. However, a win would be super awesome and put us in a really good position.
