By Steve Tucker
Thrilling wideman Craig Noone is back, fighting fit and hoping to put the frighteners on Norwich this weekend.
ST: Hi Craig, how are you?
CN: Really good. Fit and raring to go.
ST: Great. Cardiff fans will be pleased. OK, now who has been the biggest influence on your life?
CN: That would have to be my family. My mum and my dad and a lot of my friends too.
ST: If you weren’t Craig Noone, which player would you like to be?
Stevie G of course! Or maybe Messi or Ronaldo. Not bad players those guys.
ST: If you weren’t a footballer, what would you do for a living?
CN: I’ve already been a roofer and I worked on the building sites until I was 20. But if I wasn’t a player it would still have to be in football. Maybe a coach or a kit-man even. I just love football.
ST: Is Stevie G’s house nicer than yours?
CN: Definitely. It’s got a better roof on it for a start because I put it on. Someone else put the roof on my house.
Watch: Nooney does the Ice Bucket Challenge after being nominated by Stevie G
ST: Who is the best player you have ever played with?
CN: Vicente Rodriguez at Brighton. Class.
ST: Which Cardiff player were you most sad to see leave this summer?
TCN: here were a few, but it would have to be Mark Hudson. He’s not just a friend and a teammate, but a leader too.
ST: Who is your best friend in football?
CN: Dale White. He plays for Droylsden at the moment.
ST: Tell us something we don’t know about you?
CN: When I finish answering these questions I’m going shopping in Tesco. I’m going to go to the cheese aisle. Do you want anything?
ST: What is your biggest regret in life?
CN: Not eating all my dinners when I was a kid. I kept getting released by clubs because I was too small and skinny.
ST: Describe yourself in three words?
CN: Kind. Outgoing. Deep. Is that four?
ST: What is your party trick?
CN: I’ve got loads, but it has to be my singing and dancing skills. My favourite? Michael Jackson. When I hear that I’m on my feet.
ST: What do you most like to do away from football?
CN: I love my boxing. I like watching it when I can and doing boxing training. I like napping in the afternoons too.
ST: Brilliant. Thank you Craig.
CN: You’re welcome. Are you sure you don’t want anything in Tesco?
