After38 Update

Mon Sep 08, 2014 12:47 am

I promised to keep you informed about this after38.com website which attempts to predict the end of the season on current form. As was pointed out, it not accurate at the start of the season, especially with new signings but it does get better as the year progresses apparently (no sh*t Sherlock).

We were predicted to come 15th with about 61 points at the start of the season. Having played 5, checkout the new position. Not ideal and personally, I think it is still wide of the mark, but it is getting there.

Attempts is the word.

How can it predict, that Fulham, who have as yet only accumulated 1 point this season, will finish above Leeds, who already have 6 points ? (which is current form)

Strange logic ?

Totally agree, but it was frighteningly good last couple of years after about 1/3rd of the season had gone. The good news is that we know the potential with the current squad is huge so the prediction will improve as results come in. After about halfway, the top 6 will more or less be correct.

Just a bit of fun really.
