David Marshall has been given the nod over Allan McGregor as Scotland kick-off their Euro 2016 qualification campaign against Germany.
Russell Martin has also overcome a groin injury to make the starting lineup alongside Grant Hanley in the centre of defence.

Might be a busy night for Marshy. Fair play to Strachan for picking him ahead of McGregor although McGregor is playing in the prem.
Mon the Scots, hope they get a result!

Has Marshal made a blunder and let a goal in? just had a text?

One nil Germany half time. Looping header went over Marshy. Not really his fault, can't expect him to stand on his line, just a class header by Muller.

No worries. Had made a couple of good saves and looks pretty solid considering who they're up against !

Losing 2-1 now. Shambolic Scottish defending in the box.

Thats their problem, they do have over all a weak team.

FairPlay to them getting it back to 1-1 against a strong German team going to Signal Iduna Park and only losing 2-1 to the world champions.
I hope we can give the performances they have recently.

Good performance. Ref was poor for Scotland, gave Germany a lot of free kicks when Naismith was challenging for headers. Only booked a German defender when he was the last man and during injury time a German player got injured and was down for a good few mins. Ref only added an other 90 seconds and blew for full time when Scotland had a corner.
Scotland played well and really are a decent team these days under Strachan.

Ref sounded out of order.
Cheers for the update on the match

No problem, I enjoy watching my adopted country!
Strachan was asked about the ref and said he would leave it up to the match assessor to deal with, suggesting that the assessor will come down hard on the ref for a poor game.

David Marshall was disappointed with the defeat to Germany, believing they were on top before they conceded Thomas Müller's winner.
