Will Manga be better than Caulker ???

I suppose we will find out, but sounds like a decent centre half that's too good for the Championship, and despite the hype, we
Leaked goals and were relegated with Caulker, and not big clubs really wanted him ???

Given all the talent in our team I really dont think we have the spine or chemistry to make things happen.
we haven't gelled and there is no authority or control its as if the whole squad is on a free role.

im not expecting us to push until late in the season I really feel we are looking at about 5th - 10th

Totally agree with you.....We are lacking a leader in midfield and defence. I don't see us making the playoffs, I think we'll miss our on the last game of the season.

I think you are both wrong, IMO we will easily make the playoffs, and probably top two.

I don't think we will really hit form until November/December and will then kick on.

I hope Manga is as good as they say if so, we may be able to allow midfield to concentrate on attacking, more than defending.....

I think most people feel Manga will be our best centre half, hence the comparison with Caulker, who most people thought was the best Centre half last season.

I've seen carcasses that were better defenders than Caulker. The guy scored some good goals but couldn't lead for shit. The goal against Newcastle where Ameobi and he were the only players in the box and he still didn't mark him was laughable.

You CAN compare them and YES. I think with the right CB partner alongside him, Manga will excel in the Championship AND the Premier League.

I personally think no, not right away, but yes, after Manga has been in the squad for a year or more. As long as he sticks around, he will be better than Caulker, but CBs always only realize 80% of their potential in the first year at a club, it's one of those roles where you pretty much need to know and understand everyone you work with to a deep level.
