CCFC lose Academy scouts

Sat Sep 06, 2014 7:49 pm

Cardiff City have seen three of their academy coaches leave our set up to join up with Swansea City's development.

In Bridgend, the Swans have opened a centre of excellence and have poached two of our coaches.

Whilst in Carmarthen, a development centre that was once run and affiliated with Cardiff City is now under the umbrella of Swansea City's development coaching.

Heard this last week shame as we have had a lot of players from down that way maybe Swansea should worry about paying the 17 million they owe on the building of their Academy.

It's probably for the best my boy was part of the Cardiff academy down Carmarthen and it was hardly part of Cardiff city club.
It is run by local coaches what out of the six of them 4 could not trap a bag of cement,
The guy running it gets paid a hefty sum for two hours training. As every kid has to pay £5 a session and when people leave they just fill the space with anyone just to keep the money coming in
The parents are only paying the money to tell there friend there kid is playing for a professional club, they only played one competitive game all the year my boy was down there and when I asked the coach why don't he ask local clubs to have a game his answer was it's not his job to organise friendlys clubs should come to him

It's no loss to Cardiff they should send scouts down Carmarthen on a sat morning when all teams are playing
