Kelland Absalom and Regan Poole

The latest Wales U17 squad was named this week and Kelland Absalom is listed as a Wigan Athletic player. He left Cardiff City in May and Wigan fought off a number if clubs to sign him. Surprised that he would have signed for Wigan given that their academy is a lower category than city's.

Also a youngster from Newport County is on stand by. He only joined them this summer after being released by City. He's gone on trial to Man Utd this week.
