Of these pointless and meaningless matches? If Daelhi us injured he could be out for months and months and so he can't play for his club who pay his wages? He is just about to star for us. He is one of the few who has pace and trickery and who can unlock defences. Very frustrating.
And while I'm having a moan - why get rid of our great skipper Hudson when Manga could be out for 4-6 weeks at the African Cup, Turner could still be settling back in after a long injury and we keep Gabbidon a 36 year old injury plagued player.
I hope our season doesn't go tits up this year. We simply have to go up.

Why do we 'simply have to go up'? It would be nice, especially if we made a better go of it next time, but theres a whole world of football outside the Premier League.

Because just like club managers, international managers need to see their players and test out a new philosophy.
Calling Gabbidon injury plagued yet he played 23 games last season to Hudson's 6

New philosophy!!! Yeah right!!! And then we get our players injured. Why do we have to go up? Bloody hell. Because if we don't we add to our huge debt, Tan could do a fire sale to recoup money and players who came to us expecting to gain promotion to the Premiership would leave. We would be in a mess. But I guess you would be happy right? Yeah. Dream on.

yet more reactionary crap because one of our players has taken a knock.
did it ever occur to you that we have a fantastic squad with strength in depth for this very reason.

why bother having club friendlies? players could get injured.
also, players shouldn't drive to and from training, they could crash, and get injured.
and use lifts to get up and down the stairs in their houses, they could fall you know!

I agree silly post.
Players get injured in matches, friendly's, training among other things. Fact of life - get on with it.
