I was so glad to hear that as he's certainly been missed.

Not sure he is a big game winner for us, but certainly the best we have, and he gets the crowd on their feet (sorry stewards)

I would actually like him to be our Raheem Sterling. Play at the Point onf a Midfield diamond behind two strikers and give him free reign to go where he likes, wide either side or central. I think with his pace and trickery he could be a revelation for us in a role like that.

I'd rather see Daehli in that role with Noone getting to the byline & crossing for Jones/Macheda. That's one thing we've been missing.

Problem is, if playing that formation the width comes from the fullbacks. There is no place for an out an out winger otherwise you get smoked in the middle of the pitch cause your number 10 is designed to be your 3rd attacker. If you then play with wingers you essentially have 1 bloke in the middle of the park and will just get overrun and will not keep any possesion.

Lets get our best 11 players on the pitch, play too our strengths and stop worrying about the other side 4-4-2........4-5-1.............3-5-2..........4-3-3.........4-1-3-2...........ive heard them all........what we need is some pace and movement and no one has to be part of that.
