Re: Nato protestors

And the logic in your post is..?

Re: Nato protestors

The logic is obvious and the point well made.

Re: Nato protestors

Where are the protesters for the thousands of innocents that were killed indiscriminately in the illegal war in Iraq ?

Re: Nato protestors

Wed Sep 03, 2014 6:03 pm

No, it's not. The fact that people should react and protest against the barbaric acts of IS is obvious. Go start the protest. But it doesn't make protesting against NATO any less OK.

According to Viasat Daehli will play out right, with hotshot Martin Linnes on right back in a 4-5-1-formation.

EDIT: Elabdellaoi will play right back.

They will have to match Baines and Sterling on Englands left side.

I really don't think that people know what NATO was/has been all about and it lost all its credibility when they didn't help defend the Ukraine.

I want to know just how much this is costing the local taxpayer FFS!!!

Ukraine are not part of NATO - But they want to join ( according to Newsnight ! )

As for the costing ... the taxpayers could have bought Tan out ;)

I know Ukraine isn't part of NATO but that's because NATO has been sitting on its arse without thinking of the UKraine

Daehli will be asked to play on the far right to appease certain CCFC fans who don't want him playing for Norway.

well most protesters want and end to war. if we hadn't been galavanting across the middle east then those journalists wouldn't be out there, so in a way they are.

unless you want it both ways, no one beheads our brave boys whilst we bomb and shoot natives is that it?

Exactly, it's ok to bomb Iraq back to the Stone Age, but any kind of response is somehow a surprise.

I'm not sticking up for everything NATO do, but it always amazes me how the do gooders of this world only ever see one side of any issue. We are do soft in this country.........do those protestors think they could do that in Saudi Arabia or Russia...........no.......we give people rights and privilages........and what do they do.......protest against us.....we let radical muslim clerics have free speech and now we have thousands of radical fundamentalist muslims willing to cause us and our country harm. Its time to be hard and stop these people.........they have more rights than a football supporter on a banning order.........at least the police know where he is on a Saturday and when his country plays away.

so you think the people of this country should be thankful they have the right to peaceful protest, and should show their gratitude by not excercising that right??

you don't need to be a historian to see where this type of thinking eventually leads

Yes we should be thankfull that our forefathers fought for our rights and we live in a civil society..........but it does not give the right to people to preach hatred and violence against this country. Why do people spit hatred about this country yet choose to live here. If they don't like our country and what it stands for........simple....pi@s off.

i think what he's saying is that its not ok to allow people to preach that non muslims should be killed and the holocaust didnt go far enough to ridding the world of jews, that sort of thing. all in the country that has given these people a life far better than the places they come from.

you have to draw the line somewhere with regards to free speech. free speech and the right to peaceful protest does not mean 'you can say anything you want about anyone'.

you have spoken like a true liberal democrat, and nick clegg would be proud of that attitude you have, doggedly defending the rights of extreme islamists to preach on our own home turf, but not actually listening to what they want to happen to you, and I.

Re: Nato protestors

Another point..........have you ever wondered where these people get the time to protest.........the same people turn up at NATO protest, anti fracking, g8 summit, CND marches and on and on...........don't they work, don't they have children..........do they have a house ?? do they pay tax..........????????????

Denzil, while i know and appreciate that your avatar is Lenny MacLean, aka 'The Guvnor', it nonetheless looks for all the world like a bloke squeezing out a rather large poo while suffering from the world's nastiest case of constipation.

That is all.

Absolute bullshit, good luck to them. If only more people in this country stood up for what they believed in, no matter what it might be.
