I reckon we should make a move he's been here 7+ years now

. He's not gonna play for England and Surely an opportunity to play in a euro championships would tempt him
useful player with the ability to be effective at international level. Set pieces, good passer of the ball, knows where the goal is

Not for me, I'm totally against that rule. Whittingham's an Englishman at the end of the day. Unless the player has the blood of another nationality or grew up in a different country, like Earnshaw, I don't agree with players playing for another country other than their own.

I'd love this. I know he divides opinion, and as the poster above said, i dont usually agree with this rule. But whitts is a legend and hero in my eyes (metaphorically and relatively of course)

Would be brilliant for Wales alongside Allen or Ledley. Problem is we don't have a midfield hard man

Bring back ben thatcher give him a pair of feet, a bit of pace, half a brain and hypnotise him to believing he's a CM then we'll qualify for a half arsed euro competition haha. Joking aside rambo is the clos3st to a no nonsense midfielder and he doesnt come.romotely near that category

All Home Nations chose to remove the residency clause from their rules and regulations
FIFA allow eligibility after two years residency where the nations share a nationality (i.e. England, Wales, Scotland and N Ireland)
However the Home Nations do not use it.

No.
Still pisses me off that our captain is English.
If he's not good enough for England, then tough.
Wouldn't have any passion for the country.
