Been reading their forum and they rate him highly but can't turn down 6 million euros for a player out if contract in ten months...many of their fans praising him and wishing him well...they are glad he had not joined a French rival

I am assuming he is not worth £5million to a Premier League club especially if he may sit on a bench.

We have offered an excessive price that the French club could not turn down and hopefully the player wants to play week in week out so will happily play in the Championship.

If he wanted regularly first team footy he should stay where he is.

Premier cubs can afford to be fussy! Also its end of transfer window so prices slightly higher if you want the right player.

He is rated at £4.4m on Transfermarkt and has been as high as £5.3m (June 2012). Also, if you look at some of the valuations of Cardiff players on that site, they seem on the cheap side e.g. Marshall - £2.2m; Noone = £1.76m; Declan John - £440k; Joe Ralls - £264k: Brayford - £1.32m and Macheda - £1.32m.

Interesting stuff. Thanks for posting. Valuation wise he seems a good player. That site seems to be very official too! Not sure I agree with the Marshall price!

I think OGS rates him as good as an £8m player, which is not the same as saying he could sell him for £8m, as the market dictates what a player is worth. I wouldn't sell him for £8m, as although that would be a good price for him I'm not sure we could replace him for that money with a player who is not only as good, but who also puts bums on seats with his exciting attacking runs.
