Times they are a changing............................

Sun Aug 31, 2014 8:51 am

At yesterdays game with Fulham Spoke with a couple of guys who work for CCFC.

One of them in particular seems to know his stuff and he told me that we should start to see a gradual re -introduction of the blue. He did however emphasise that the fans need to give VT a break and stop the abuse, that was heard again briefly yesterday

PS - Don't shoot the messenger :bluescarf:

Oh - forgot to mention it was Mehmet Dalman :bluescarf:

Funny you should say that, i was speaking to a very high ranking member of the Cardiff council last weekend. He knows Tan personally via certain dealings between the two and he said similar. Tan is starting to waver, he is still clinging onto the hope that the fans will see sense but is getting increasingly despondent by the refusal to accept it. He told me to watch this space. I still think we should be fighting for it it louder than ever to leave him in no doubt :ayatollah:

Totally agree - but the abuse HAS to stop to allow VT to compromise

20 pissed up kids being ignored by the other 2800 should tell them all that is needed.

That's true. A smaller number than ever with the abuse. However the end was predominantly blue again, showing that most fans think that's the best way to get the message across. I had a few with me who weren't footy fans and they were impressed by the amount of blue shirts, scarves etc at the game.

I did Gareth. It was right next to me and yes I would say it was 20 pissed up kids. It only lasted a few seconds and to be honest any other club in our situation it would have happened there. We are not unique.

abuse and name calling has worked well so far eh? 19.27 protest is a good way of showing views but confrontation will lead nowhere and the sooner some understand that the better imo.

I don't think he mentions abuse & name calling as working does he?
He is correct in his statement though.
I personally don't like/agree with the abuse & believe the show of blue, the 19:27 & the blue songs are the way forward.

Yes thanks OriginalGrangeEndBlue that's is my personal view and as you say also the view of many many others too and also you are correct in saying I haven't abused or called names to Tan either.
In my opinion Tan has ruined our club and he is no more than a dictator but also surrounded by "yes" men who have ill advised him by licking his arse continuously. We are no better off now than when he took over or re-branded us. In fact we are probably about 6 times more in debt and totally in his control.
IMO Cardiff City is in it's worst financial and business run state in it's entire history.
The sooner Tan realises this and does the honourable thing and turns his loans to equity and then leaves, the better the club will be.

Tan is starting to waver, he is still clinging onto the hope that the fans will see sense but is getting increasingly despondent by the refusal to accept it. He told me to watch this space. I still think we should be fighting for it it louder than ever to leave him in no doubt :ayatollah:

He changes our 100 year identity and shows no respect for our clubs heritage and he's still hoping that WE will see sense. :laughing5:
He really is an arrogant prick who IMO clearly believes he is better than us peasants.

You still talk like Tan is the sole man in the board room when in fact there are several who also agreed to the rebrand! Just thought id say

Yeah they are the "yes" men who just wanted his money. But remember Tan is the man in charge.

As above, if you believe that you'll believe pigs fly!

Can you enlighten us on your believe?

Well don't you think it's a bit strange the our current chairman is man united season ticket holder, also a former share holder of Manchester United and to add to the ironic twist we now have a ex Manchester United player as our manager hmmm

Yes I do find that strange but as I said Tan is the man in charge and I can't see him answering to anyone. Not even "her in doors" :laughing6:

Do you know him personally ? I agree he gives the overall say after all he is the main shareholder, however my own opinion is he has been wrongly advised and along with other board members the decision was made!

"Do I know him personally" what a strange question to ask.
I have stated on another post on this thread that I believe he is and has been ill advised but he's by no means stupid, in fact he's apparently a very intelligent man and is also a very shroud and successful business man which I don't doubt. So you'd have to be an idiot (which he isn't) to realise the re-brand has not and will not work. He's the man that can change it.
