Plainly not a left wide midfielder/winger especially with Fabio at left back.
The amount of time those two were tossing around with 1-2's up field Whitts had to drop back to left back leaving gaping holes in midfield.
Matts is obviously freakishly talented but he needs to be around the penalty box. He has no idea defensively and why should he.
Fulham were going down our left at will after the initial 20 mins when we were on top, and Parker realised that quickly and changed the game, which we dominated for the first quarter.
Unless we get a specialist left/right sided midielder I think we will struggle
Whats wrong with Kadeem harris

As much as a like both he and Fabio I think it's a mistake to play them both on the same side, they aren't strong enough
As for Dæhli, he is going to develop into a player that can play on the wings and behind the striker. But he's too young and is still developing.
As a number ten Ole needs to play a tight diamond behind him and two forwards ahead (like against Huddesfield) otherwise he's going to get isolated way too easily and be ineffective.
He will get past that but those calling for it now are way off.
I'd rather see him play on the right of a diamond with Whitts on the left Dikgacoi DM and Adeyemi behind two strikers, or have him on the side of three midfielders behind a single striker with two DMs.

Wouldn't call it a weak link unless you want us to just lay back and defend. Goes both ways I guess, we created the most down that side Matts was. To be fair Matts the only one capable of creating anything for us. Whitts unfortunately seems uninspired. Pilks was non existent. And Kadeem Harris is defo not a defensively sound wideman so not sure how you got the idea that he would make things tighter at the back.

Not a weak link just being played in a non effective role. Still has 2 assists though

Just a provocative title
Yesterdays assist was central, what was the other one

Yes play him as a number 10 with one up front and pilkington and nooney on the wings, this is the way forward imo but I fear ole will not realise this and we will continue to struggle with his numb non existent brand of football so far. I hope he fixes things and proves me wrong though.

Against Huddersfield through ball to Jones from a central area and against Coventry on a cross from out wide.

He is by no means the weak link, that's just silly talk. I don't think there's room for both him and Whittingham in a 4-man midfield. Ole needs to decide if he wants a solid defensive team that rely on set pieces(Whittingham) or an attack team that scores from open play (Dæhli).
