Velikonja has supposedly been fantastic in training and has really caught the eye of ole with his finishing .
Apparently he looks a totally different player this season and is pushing hard for a place on the bench .

Was there a reason we never saw him much under Malkey ?
Could he make a unbelievable come back and prove everybody wrong ?
Have the fans been to quick to judge him seeing as he's only played a couple of times here ?
His goal record elsewhere seems to suggest he has the talent !

At that level he should have been one of the leaders but look more like a lamp following the flock. From all the stories coming out now I get the impression he struggled with the atmosphere. Now this seems to be sorted perhaps we will see what we were told.

Malky was happy to claim the signing when he signed but who knows who signed him.

I don't think that's the reason he was frozen out, Malky often froze out players randomly, brayford, Cornelius, Conway, Noone all had long stretches out the team and sometimes not even on the bench.

Though his shoot was wide against Port Vale I was thinking he got it, his technique seems brilliant. Surprised me.

Let's remember the pre-season match where he played brilliantly against a near full strength Newcastle team.

At the time we could have got him no problem....tan just get on the blower to Fernandez and make him an offer he couldn't refuse.
