police on junctions of m4...then went for a walk down the bay...police everywhere......police vans on almost all the roads and we still have nearly a week to go.....9,500 police to be used for this NATO ....all seems so over the top to me..

Strangely enough, the roads between the airport and Culverhouse Cross have been resurfaced in recent weeks so at least that is some benefit for those of us who live in Barry.

But the biggest potential nuisance around here is PLANE SPOTTERS! They have introduced special parking regulations in Rhoose to counteract this!

Air Force 1 won't be coming to Cardiff. But there will be up to 10,000 staff coming! Apparently you can't get a hotel room this week anywhere along the M4 corridor from Swansea to Swindon.

Apparently, the police can randomly stop and search cars here this week, which may well slow down the delivery of takeaway curry
