How would you feel if Solskjær did the same as Pulis?

Tue Aug 26, 2014 4:23 pm

A full pre-season. Two days before the season kicks off. Then he realizes he won´t get the players he needs and that Crystal Palace probable won´t do as well as he would wish. Relegation wouldn´t look good on his CV. So, instead of trying to make the best out of it and make wonders with what he´ve got, he just turns the back to everyone, the players, the club who are left in a total mess. Maybe it´s just me, but putting himself before the club in such a manner doesn´t make him a hero in my book.

It was totally shocking. But then again there might have been a big circus going on behind closed doors --- Moody?! I would call it betrayal if OGS did this to us

I don´t buy this explanation that the Moody-affair was the reason for Pulis quitting. One of the staff is a racist... that´s not a reason for a manager to leave everyone in vain. Also, his explanation for quitting was well articulated by himself.

Not talking about the text messages, simply Moody's presence.

If Moody was seen as a big problem, I´m sure the club would get rid of him before their manager. And Pulis made very clear why he left.

He couldn't work with Parish, I would have done the same, he is too good for them anyway.....

He will have a choice of clubs by Christmas, much better than Palace......

Pulis performed a miracle last season and has had no support or backing for his incredible efforts whatsoever. After everything he did for them last season, that's the thanks he gets. Absolutely shocking and I don't blame him one bit for walking away.

That's right. There was no love loss between Moody & Pulis anyway, & TP was promised things (based on earlier results) that didn't materialise with regards to new players.

Didn't IH & Parish talk on SSN shortly after IH resigned? I'm sure it was a mutual departing

Parish wanted to sign young and promising players with re-sale value, while Pulis suggested players like Peter Crouch and Matt Etherington (both 32). Not sure Parish was wrong on this one..

I don't like Pulis after listening to KG's interview, the way he treats people is disgusting, wouldn't want him here even if he would bring success.
