But I think I can safely say that we will not get relegated again this season.

On the other hand I don't think we'll finish top 2 either........ I'm going to be optimistic and say we will finish in 8th place missing out on a playoff place on the last day of the season.

8th place is an improvement on where I originally thought we'd finish, in fact pre season I thought we'd finish in the bottom half of the league.

We all know Ole will change the team evey week.......it's not that he doesn't know his best 11 (I think he does) its the fact he worries too much about the other side changing the team to try and nullify their better players instead of going out and making the opposition worry about us.

I think the defense is getting better.....it's now I would say on a par with what we had 2 season ago, but I think we are still missing that little spark in midfield that player who can put his foot on the ball and control the game and let the wingers create the chances for our forwards.

Agree. He should make them worry about our team, not worry about theirs all the time.

With our forward line and an attacking midfield the other teams would be forced back anyway, and concentrating on stopping Cardiff gives them little time to think about attacking so much.

Steven McLaren, a man not even considered with his CV will keep pushing Derby in the right direction.. Forest spent alot of money and are smashing it. Norwich look tidy too. Very difficult league to get out of

I agree that the squad is extremely talented, the lingering doubt is with Ole and his lack of experience. I honestly think if we employed Steve McLaren it would of been a safe bet us going up!

I agree that Norwich will be up there. I was very impressed by their performance against Ipswich this weekend.

Mclaren has only failed at two jobs, England and wolfsburg, very underrated, wouldn't say he was a failure at forrest just don't think he was ready to come back to English game

It is my understanding that Solskjær rotates his squads first and foremost because he believes it will be better in the long run to keep more players happy and match fit. This in case of injuries, tired legs at crutial periods in a season and sudden drops in form. In doing so he may well be weighing an expected short term loss of a change versus an expected long term gain.

So one can debate whether his overall strategy is sound. One can also debate whether he gets the balance right in employing it. But it is time to accept that he will field a different line up every week, and the reason for the changes will not always be found in the opposition team or the dropped players' form.

Ole has got these players to the club, and he knows best how to play them. Look like we will be in a six games winning row now,,
