My mate had a parking ticket Tuesday night

My mate parked is car Tuesday night oppsite the cost co car park went into the casino to get a ticket or registrar the car as most people do put the ticket in car thought we were alright after the game there a parking ticket on his car .havnt lads on this board been caught out like this before the question I'm asking should we pay the fine if he has we are going to chip in anyway they say thet if he doesn't pay with in 28 days they say they will refer to the bailiffs and they will come to his for it any advice

don't pay
photo copy the ticket
photo copy your proof you were using the casino
send both to the issuing address on the parking ticket and write saying see you in court
happy days that should be the end of it
oh and say you will not be responding again other than in court
and keep the original tickets safe and take a copy of your response

private parking ticket - don't pay (unenforceable and they know it)
council parking ticket - pay

Ignore it I have had 3 tickets in the last 2 years . Usually receive 3 letters one parking firm , one from solicitor, one from bailiffs. Funnily enough look very legal and intimidating. But all come from the same address, must be a very big office , with solicitors bailiffs and car parking firm all using it .
Any way I digress they are completely unenforceable, only police and council are enforceable.

I parked in asda car park for the united game last season and had a ticket. Didnt pay it as it werent off the council or police. f**k them!

Total scam, private companies can not enforce parking tickets. You'll never get to court (even if they threaten you) as they know they'll never win. Bullying parasites

What ticket did you put in the car? In the casino you just put you car registration in the ipad and that's it. Nothing to display in your car
