Modern day football style link to atmosphere ?

During the last few years and the Britiah style of kick and rush being left behind in favour of keep ball has that also had an effect in modern day stadia ?

Even through keep ball style is nicer on the eye and gives you a better chance of not losing (because the other team can't score if you got the ball) but does that effect the atmosphere because you don't get the roar when a long ball down the line for a winger to get onto also something which has effected the match atmosphere as well as all seater stadia
