Ole Tactics/Tinkering/Stats

So much for having the best attacking threat in the league. There are several posts on here highlighting their concerns regarding the way we have played this season so far. So much for the attacking football associated with Ole.

In all four games the opposition have created more chances than us.

Only in the Huddersfield game did we have more possession than the opposition 51% - 49%

In the other games Blackburn 65% Cardiff 35, Cardiff 46% Wigan 54% & Wolves 67% Cardiff 33%

With regards to the tinkering which happened throughout the second half of last season and carried on into this. It looks like only 4 players have started every game this season Marshall, Fabio, Whitts & Connolly. Some of those have been played in different positions as well.

Yes, it's not a bad points return to date but with the strength in the squad we have surely you would expect us to be dominating teams, having plenty of the possession, creating many chances and with the fire power scoring the goals. We gave scored 5 from 4 and 3 of those came in one game!

I hope Ole brings about a bit of consistency in his team selection and adopt a more attacking style of play. Reward the players who are performing ( Jones, Brayford, Connolly, Fabio) and drop those who are not (Gunnar ? Maynard?) thought Guerra was outstanding when he came on against Huddersfield what have we seen of him since? Very little. Time will tell.
