What to do with the cup !

Would you play a full side and make sure we progress ?
Play the fringe players but make sure its a strong team to give everybody game time ?
Put out the development team and concentrate on the league ?

I think we have a strong enough squad to go far in this competition without effecting the first 11 too much !
We should put out a team like this and really go for it , give some guys a good run out

We need to win these matches Thomas and this is where Ole can tinker and keep players fit

Would play something like the Coventry squad, but with a bit more defensive strength.
We dominated the ball in that game so just stopping goals would be beneficial. Daehli's cross into the own goal (which Harris would have got anyway) was amazing, hope he plays after being rested yday.

Win it?

Give the youngsters a chance! these are the only games they're likely to feature in....it's harsh but it should be there chance to prove to Ole they're ready to step-up or to be shipped out

The development team are playing Monday night aswell at NP so think something like the OP team will play.

He needs to start a regular team for league and switch for cup.

Spot on, even if the Dev Team are playing. But who knows what wonderful selection and formation Ole will come up with. I have supported him from day one, but I am beginning to worry.

Ole confirmed on Friday that both Macheda and Dikgacoi will start.

Dikgacoi needs to get fit so give him a run around. Would like to see Barnum-Bobb again too.

Spot in ThomasBlue except I would play Ralls for Eikram. I simply think he is a much better player and indeed good enough for our first team.

Without effecting the first 11 Thomas? There is no first 11 in Ole World!

I think we should try to win it.
I personnally enjoyed the 2 cup runs to the final more than last years premier season.

Gonna be exciting to see Diko, Macheda and Guerra together. Barnum-Bobb was fresh against Coventry. Think the match will be entertaining.

Good squad to play Port Vale....

I'm sure Ole will play a similar team to the one that played against Coventry, I'd like to see Macheda play personally

imo Kiko and Guerra will start.

If they put in a good shift and bag some goals - they will start again on Saturday. I think it just worked out this way, but both players should be very hungry to score goals and to bump themselves up to starting positions for Saturday's game vs Fulham.

If we have this talented of a squad - I expect everyone who plays vs Port Vale to be ready to prove themselves worthy of more game time in the Championship. In turn should spur on the people who might be floundering a bit.
