Ole's exciting football

Sun Aug 24, 2014 12:59 am

I think will still take a few games before it really kicks in because half of the time teams who play flare attractive football start the season slowly and will really show it in around 7 games into the season and i think it is the case with us and we still got players coming back from injury :thumbright: i think ole is the man to take us back up we got some good results so far we can't win them all. :ole: :ayatollah:

Nobody seems to mention how often we hoof it up to the strikers. How can you expect Le Fondre and Maynard to deal with that

You need to hoof the ball in the championship sometime to grind out a result and ole said himself that it is not about playing pretty football in the championship.

Isn't he?

Why not? How long does it take someone to be 100% fit?

I'm sure he was on the pre season trip to Austria and played in the pre-season friendlies so if he's not fit now when the hell is he going to be?

Point taken but dropping brayford though is a concern but let's keep supporting ole and like i said we are not going to win every game. :ayatollah: :ole:

Still waiting for it. At the moment it's more like Ole's "lets play like a Dave Jones team" football.

Give him more time and it will pay off these things take time and he his still got quite a bit of malky's hoofball players in the squad and he still got more players coming back :thumbright: and the team is still gelling and i think by mid september we will see attractive attacking style of football by ole. :ole: :ayatollah:

He's already been in charge since January. Pulis took 5 games to sort it out at Palace.

StT.

The hoofin works for us at times especially with Jones up there, Maynard isn't too bad in the air but we do need to keep it down more. Jones isn't fit enough to start every match in the league yet, but when he is we must be in for a treat :ayatollah:

It doesn't take long to install long ball into a team.

I wonder what`s wrong with many of you.

What was the sentences that came in almost every topic last year?

We wont win any matches next year with Ole in charge. Exciting football wont work in The Championship and Ole wont be able to learn how to play in that league. Ole is too inexperienced to handle the tough football in Championship. Ole cant defend and we will score tons and let in even more.

Last season you guys complained that Ole will get us relegated as his football wont work. Now he plays the way most of you wanted with a tight defence and uses a more physical style rather than the technical. And now you`re complaining that we dont play the exciting football that would get us relegated.

Wish i never signed up to this forum cause some of you are the most pathetic fans i have ever seen.
