Jesus, all of a sudden Tan is a victim? The most farcical thing about this whole saga is the apologists lauding him as a wronged victim ... It's not as if he forced a damaging, fan splitting rebrand on the fans or anything is it?!

It's not he's a victim as such, just that lots outright blamed him for Malky leaving. Most people now see that Tan was right to do it and have the balls to say "I was wrong". Tan did day the truth will come out and surprise people fair play to him

With hindsight he was absolutely right to get rid of McKay . However , rebrand apart, I still don't think he has come out of this with much credit. The way this whole thing was handled was shocking really. He has obviously sat on this evidence for quite some time and it looks as if he has held onto it until he could use it to hurt McKay as much as he could for maximum impact, when he had a job offer. Tan has also been phoning other clubs to bad mouth McKay just as he applied for vacancies there; Norwich and west ham in particular but possibly celtic too? IMO Tan should have just gone direct to the FA when he obtained evidence and sacked him there and then. Then let the relevant people investigate and then decide whether the police should also be involved.

The way Tan has held onto this evidence and used it to slowly besmirch McKay, before finally telling palace when it looks like that club may have contacted McKay prior to pulis leaving smacks of vindictiveness and does him no credit

Don't blame tan.
It's hammans fault for getting this club out of the basement leagues and putting us into a position where tans investment was an option.

and don't blame hamman it was everyone elses fault we were so shit, had we been in division 1 he would of took over bury or rochdale or someone :thumbright:

Don't blame everyone else for being shit because it wasn't there fault

Wow Brackla, you are remarkably well informed. You must be a very important person. Or are you just mouthing off, making assumptions and presenting them as fact, as do so many anti Tan people?

No assumptions there friend , all common knowledge. The only assumptions have been made by you by insinuating that I've "mouthed off" on this . I am only anti tan with regards to a response to some of his actions, for which he IS responsible.
Do you not think that people are responsible for their actions Man of Harlech ?

By the way , the specific actions of Tan I'm referring to are:

Blue to red with no consultation
Washing our dirty linen in public
Unprecedented debt
Broken promises of remaining blue
Farcical new badge
Red seats
Broken promises if debt to equity

Yo Dre. The thread is about victimising poor Mr Tan. If you'd like to ( once again) pass comment on Mr McKay there are around 20 threads on it just on this page. Keep up at the back Dre

There are also several threads from several sources on how "the club" have offered "references" for McKay at the time of job application.

Dre , you are an ass licking Tan troll :thumbright:

Dont blame tan as its you the fans fault.
Its u who wilted when tan said he was pulling out and basically allowed him to take full control of your club.
Didnt hear many complaints when u beat man city or even reach the prem.
Funny how u blame everyone but your selfs for the shit u are in.

Brackla is obviously a man on the inside with access to information that nobody else is able to get. What exactly has Tan been saying when he's phoning all these other clubs, and maybe you can let us all know if Tan is considering some sort of compromise with the fans anytime soon. Good to know we have someone on the inside who will keep us up to date with anything Tan is doing.

I have not once tried to excuse McKay for what he did and I have stated that he should get the book thrown at him for all proven allegations of it all. In fact ive said that tan should have sacked him and reported him sooner rather than sit on the evidence.
